MWH is excited to welcome you to the 2025 Murdoch, Walrath & Holmes School Finance Conference for Businesses! We are returning to the beautiful Kimpton Rowan Hotel in Palm Springs on January 16-17, 2025. This Conference will help position your company for success in 2025.

In a time of great uncertainty, one thing is certain: 2025 will be a year of change and transition – and a year of new opportunity for your company. The 2025 School Finance Conference will survey the political and policy landscape, tackling the issues that K-14 education will face in the next year, such as:

• Governor Newsom’s January 10, 2025 budget proposal for FY 25-26, kicking off months of negotiations in Sacramento.
• Changes in Washington and Sacramento and how they will impact education programs and services.
• Interest rates are predicted to drop and a historic number of local bonds are on the November ballot; how this will affect municipal bonds – and thus the issuance of school bonds and cash flow for school construction projects.
• How to support and work with school districts as they navigate competing pressures while implementing new local bonds.
• New opportunities in Proposition 2, including development and implementation of new master plan requirements and supplemental grant funding options for projects that address specific state policy goals.
• With no perfect delivery method, hear strategies and discuss options for successfully navigating the various options.

Conference Registration

Online pre-registration will close on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. On-site registration will be available beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 in the Sky Ballroom Foyer.

• Additional Registrant from same company: $1,075

Conference Location

Cancellation Policy

The MWH office must receive written notice of cancellation before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in order to receive a full refund. Substitutions are allowed for employees of the same organization, at no additional charge.

• Cancellations received after December 12, 2024 will receive a $200 refund.
• If notice of cancellation is not received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, a refund will not be issued and payment will be due for any outstanding balance.
• Registrations made on or after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, or no shows, are not eligible for refunds.
