Democratic Majority Vote Budget Agreement

At today’s press conference, Governor Brown, Speaker pro Tempore Steinberg and Speaker Perez outlined a budget agreement that is predicated upon an improving California economy and triggered mid-year cuts if that improving economy does not occur.  It does not rely upon any special election, tax extensions, or Republican votes. 

I expect there will be a vote late tomorrow or Wednesday.  Because it is majority vote budget, it should pass both Houses, go to the Governor and be signed prior to July 1.
